  1. It may be in your Sweden book – but here we go:

    50 g butter
    5 dl milk
    50 g yeast
    1 tbs salt
    2 tbs sugar
    approx 1,5 l flour

    Melt the butter and add the milk, heat to 37 C. Down with the yeast to the bowl, pour some of the buttermilk and stir until the yeast has melted. Add the rest of the liquid, salt, sugar and most of the flour. Work the dough until it doesn’t stick to the side of the bowl. Sprinkle some flour and leave to rest for about an hour.

    In the meantime:

    125 g butter
    1 1/2 dl sugar
    0,5-1 g saffron
    1 egg

    Mix the butter and sugar fluffy. Add saffron and egg. Work this mix into the dough, add some more flour if needed. Work the dough and make approx. 30 buns like in the picture. Leave to rest 30 min. Brush with egg and add raisins. Bake in the middle of the oven at 250 degrees Celsius for 8-10 minutes.

    Eat!
