Sunday lunch

A kids walhalla for lunch/dinner is Cafe Restaurant Amsterdam, an old pumping station.

The menu is French bistro style, with something for everybody’s likes. From lobster to hamburger with fries. They have also great Fruit de Mer. The space has high-ceilings, big open dining area, and enough distance between the tables (for strollers and the likes). They have a large supply of Stokke’s Trip Trap chairs for all ages. A great space to meet with friends with kids (without are also very welcome).

On Sundays it’s family day. Kids run around, baby’s cry and parents enjoy the food & wines.

Also a great place to meet with just friends, no kids. But be warned – you better make a reservation after 19:30, when all the kids are on Dutch clock in bed a sleep and the place turns into a normal restaurant again.
