Tomato Sauce Madness

To save time  I always like to cook a large bash of Bolognese sauce. What’s left after dinner , we freeze. To make the same sauce a different experience, I try to serve it with different sides – Orecchiette pasta, with mozzarella cheese as a lasagna, or – A.’s favorite – with polenta sticks as a dip.

Polenta Sticks are really easy to make. You need for 1 serving:

  • 100 ml of milk
  • 50 grams of polenta
  • 25 grams of Parmesan cheese

You boil the milk, when it boils take it of the heat, mix in the polenta & Parmesan cheese, pour it in a bowl, let it cool, cut into sticks (cubes, rounds, stars – whatever form you prefer), and serve. Oh, and don’t forget to dip!
